It's actually just a red sharpie, although I will probably go with a polish. I really like the look and works better for me than white.

Correct, on a Shield you just spin the tip to cover the whole surface, it will last you a couple weeks at least before you'd have to reapply. Takes seconds.

If you want to apply nail polish, where it'd be permanent, I would use a fine tip brush. Any polish that ends up where you don't want it can be quickly removed either way.


I prefer red sights and I shoot better with them.

I got lucky. My friend just got his order last week when he he ordered 5 boxes. Its oos every where. He sold a box to me for $70, but seeking on gun broker for $100 a box.
