cbr6864; And the firing pin lock plunger. And the drop safety on the trigger. I too would like a sear lock. But w/ the M&P design, it's not going to happen. It would require a complete redesign of the weapon.
I have no fear of carrying a M&P w/ the thumb safety, as it is quite safe, when on. I wish it was a bit stiffer, but that can be rectified easily. I was(am?) a 1911 man from way back, so I understand.
