Hi All,
I am new to this forum and new to gun ownership.
I purchased a M&P Shield about 2 weeks ago. I've had it to the range once so far and really enjoyed the feel of it.
I know I need to practice much more with it to really appreciate it.

I will appreciate all of the information and pointers that I can get from this forum and from all of YOUR collective experience.

Welcome. Lots of valuable info( and some worthless but funny! ). I have had my Sheild a month or so now and carrying it pretty regular. I love it and shoots very natural for me.
 
I've only had my Shield a couple of weeks longer than you, and I'm pretty impressed with it too. I have owned several handguns over the years and have kept probably about half of them that I consider "keepers". The Shield is one of the keepers. You started out with a very well designed and reliable handgun. Congratulations, and welcome from Ky!
