M&P Shield Night Sights Question

Hi, has anyone found any stock M&P night sights like Meprolite or Trijicons that fit the Shield? I know that the accessory list that S&W put out lists big dots, but I am hoping to find a 3 dot type. Any thoughts?

the sights should physically fit, but might be a little wide. at least this is the case when someone took a measurement of a 10-8 rear sight and the stock Shield rear sight. IIRC, the 10-8 (for a standard M&P) was .04" wider.

When my guy who does trigger work at ATEi worked on my Shield a week ago, he swapped out his Trijicon HD sights from his full size to see if they would fit. They did.

I was doing some night sight research and ran across the Ameriglo Bowie Tactical for S&W M&P's (sw-801). Does anyone know if they will fit the Shield?

I am going to call Truglo tomorrow and see what it will take to get a set of TFO's made for the Shield. If anyone is interested please post in my thread in this section
