Congratulations on the purchase of the Shield. I got mine 4 months ago after searching for months. The problem I have is finding a holster. I want a holster that locks the weapon in like a Black Hawk. I ride a motor cycle and do not like the inside concealed waist band leather holster I currently have.
I have used a Black Hawk for years with my 45 cal. I purchased the Shield for the ease of concealment but will not carry it while riding. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hobbi Cop

I'm new to carrying, so I got a cheap hybrid holster on Ebay from willowhawk27. It holds really tight, and I doubt it would come out by accident. No idea how a Black Hawk grips the gun.
Not sure what type holster you are looking for, but my Fobus paddle holster that was purchased for my Beretta Px4 Storm fits and holds my Shields perfectly. The holster has BRS Storm etched into it. The Shields lock in place and no way it comes out accidently.

I ended up buying a N82 Tactical Professional for my Shield http://n82tactical.com/n82store/ It's very comfortable and there is no way the pistol would ever come out of the holster unintentionally.
