M&P15-22 Owners Age/Occupation

This thread needs to be moved to the nursing home thread. Looks like the average age around here is the mid to upper 50s. That's half a century!

Just kidding, I am almost there too.

Thats was funny. I thought the average age would be between 23-45 to be honest. Good to see the older folks having fun shooting the rifle also.

If it weren't for us older folk, there wouldn't be any of you younger folk!!! :D

I've been shooting since long before many of you were born! :D

Being about half of the average age here, I too was surprised at the "older" (I prefer to call them "wiser" myself) people here. I got to thinking about it though, and it makes sense. (exceptions to every rule-keep in mind) The wiser/older folks shoot for enjoyment, relaxation, and fun. Whereas us younger folk like to have the biggest caliber, loudest bang, and most expensive rifle to show off with. Honestly I personally fall in to both shooting types, hence my sport and 15-22. But for the quieter, relaxed shooting types, there's not much out there that beats the reliability, adaptability, and fun-ability(I know, I know) of the 15-22. Stands to reason if the wisest shooters like the 15-22, I made the right choice.
