Do the factory rail covers snap on or slide on? Sliding on is not working to good!!!!!!!!!!!!

ky Bob.if you Have a m&p?.yes it does slide on.if you have a m&p?.just make sure the release on the left side is pointing down and slide it on and go all the way back with the slide.lock it and make sure the lock is pointing strait back.and you got it.hope it helps.kybigfoot64

I have some rail covers made by Troy Industries that slid all the way on and have a sliding lock tab and I have those on my 15-22. These factory covers from SW do not have a sliding lock like the Troys do. When I slide them on they lock on the first notch and thats as far as I can get them to go unless I'm doing it wrong. I guess I just need to buy some good ones and forget the SW covers!
