M&P40 extractor coil pin question

I have been out twice with my M&P 40 FS and today I noticed that the coil pin for the extractor is not flush with the inside of the slide.It is sunk a little in the top of the slide and peeks out a little inside the slide. My 9mm Shield is not like this. Is this a loosening coil pin? I cannot remember if the pin was always like this or not. I googled and looked for images for reference but got nowhere.

Knock it back flush with the inside of the slide and monitor it. If it continues to move you can either replace it or put some Loktite on it. I haven't had a problem with any of mine moving and I shoot them a lot.
