Went to the range today to give my pistol a test run with the new Apex DCAEK and it didn't disappoint. My shots were much more consistent, even at longer distances, and the trigger was MUCH smoother! Reset was also much shorter and I was able to quickly empty a magazine on target.
The biggest thing I discovered today is the change in the feel of the trigger reset. Because everything was so much smoother I had a harder time feeling the reset than before. Also, with the stock trigger the reset had two clicks but with the Apex installed there is now only one which is nice.
So what was waiting on my door step when I got from from the range? That's right, the Apex RAM I ordered! I installed it and what a nice difference it made. Originally I ordered just based on the fact that everyone loved it but truthfully I was happy enough with the reset of the stock trigger. Once I had the Apex DCAEK installed, however, it was evident it was a must.
