M25-15 front sight

Hi guys

Im looking for something to brighten up the front sight on my S&W M25-15, I have been looking at Glo-on and other florescence paints, but not sure what to buy, its kind of a jungle

My front sight is black, so I presume that it need some kind of white paint base coat, or is white paint enough? The reviews on the flourencens paint is not...well convincing

Any words of wisdom?

For painting, I use a white base coat under florescent orange or green, then clear nail polish for a top coat. Make each coat as thin as possible, let each coat dry completely before adding the next. After all painting is done and dry, trim sides and top with a razor blade or Xacto knife to get a well defined sight picture.

Model paint can be used. Like mentioned,white base, and your desired color. I have done this to many guns. But... never did my 25-15 Bob

Thanks guys, I'll get some white paint and try if thats enough to brighten it up, if not, I'll give a coat of florescent on top
