M27-2 question

I have a 4" 27-2 I bought about 15 years ago. I was reading in the Catalog
it is supposed to have a red ramp front sight and white outline rear. Both are black. What do you suppose the readon is?

I have a 27-2, nickel 8 3/8 barrel. Sights are Patridge type, not RR/WO. There's another thread running with similar question, most replies seem to indicate there's some question about the sights on the 4 inch guns.
