M27 classic Blueing Problem

I just picked up a new 6 inch model 27 classic and when I got it home to clean it up some I noticed the blue has faded spots in it. I didn't notice this in the store. Has anyone had this same problem?

I had that years ago on a brand new 36 I bought. Get a soft clean cloth. Get some oil. Rub on the finish somewhere. Just like you are trying to rub a spot out, don't go really nuts. See if the rag turns brown. Thats what mine did. It kept getting foggier and lighter wherever I rubbed. I sent it back for a refinish.

Model 27 came back from Smith. The Blueing is fantastic. Much better than the original. In retrospect, things turned out for the best.
