M29-5 versus M29 Classic

No question the Clasic 5", a rarer configuration and the full lug barrel really helps with muzzle flip. My 2cents...

Friedrich, I think you will enjoy shooting it. What does 44 Mag ammunition cost in Belgium?

About one $ per round. But that's not really a problemsince a bought my reloading equipment even before the first rifle

My preference would have been for the 5" Classic. It is a favorite of mine. That being said, I believe you will be quite happy with your choice. The M29 is not only a favorite S&W but one of my all time favorite firearms.
