M36 cleaning rod - length?

Hi all,

I have an old M36 (nickel) with box and papers, but no cleaning kit.
It looks like they are available, but the cleaning rods can be of differing lengths.
Can someone please tell me the proper (original) length rod?

They were aprox 2+ inches. If you need more exact I'll have to go down and measure one.

Okay, how did that work with the three inch model 36's?

I have a Model 37, 2 inch, with box, cleaning rod and brush. Gun shipped July 1968 in a Bangor Punta box. The rod is 5 3/8" total length. The bend for the loop starts at approx. 4".

O.K. I went down and pulled one out and it is (from the tip to the bend before the loop) 3.75". That was in a Mod 36 box, vintage late 60's.

Unless it's a Mod 36 Target model, it did not come with the Sight Adjustment Tool (screwdriver).
