Got my M360 some time ago and really like the 14.9 ounce empty weight...then I saw on Midway, titanium cylinders for $140 so I finally took the plunge and ordered one...also had to order the clamp to unscrew the ejector rod but it came in handy later.

Now the M360 "PD" is 12.6 ounces empty and right at 15 ounces loaded! You wouldn't think a few ounces would make such a difference in carry feel but it does! I also like the look of the fluted titanium cylinder over the original non-flute black.

I did the same and added the titanium cylinder. I then sent the revolver to TK custom and had the steel cylinder cut for moon clips and an extra crane assembly ( and a trigger job). I can swap the cylinders with 1 screw. It can shoot .38 and .357 with or without moon clips and it shoots 9mm as well using the moon clips. I do find however, i prefer it with the Titanium cylinder.

The weight does matter for carry. I had a 340sc sold it to my step mother. I figured I would just carry my 442. After a few months I replaced it with a 340pd. Now shooting it is another story lol

Beautiful gun, I love the color contrast with the grips.

Oh wow I could have my cylinder cut to accept moon clips and shoot 9mm also?

This I might look into since I have a lot more 9mm laying around.

I’ve owned a no-lock 340PD for years but keep +P in it b/c magnum loads are too difficult to get quick & accurate follow up shots with.

I have a 360 that I bought used 10+ yrs ago. The gun was/is cosmetically challenged so I got it for a good price. It has always functioned like new. I installed some Crimson Trace laser grips. For some reason, short barreled guns always shoot high for me, so I did some load development, settling on 125gr Horn JHP and 7.0gr of BE86 in .357 mag cases - see picture. I adjusted the laser to POI w/125s at 25 yds after this group. This is my inclement weather, rain jacket pocket revolver. It's loaded with three of the 125s to warn off unwanted wildlife and and two 180gr Buf Bore outdoorsman for last ditch bad breath defense.

Very useful handgun, but not one for extended range use.

Blue = S&W M360 (Titanium Cyl)
Yellow = Ruger LCR
