How many 41s were sold as 5" Field Guns? Not fitted as accessory on special order. Also the order of a m41 with accessory barrel is not the same as S&W selling sets? Am I correct?
Drm, interesting question. Often wondered the same. Unfortunately an
un-answerable question without access to the factory shipping logs.
Then hours of looking at each entry and recording. An arduous task,
to say the least. And getting ahold of the Factory log book.
I don't know about your question but I purchased a used one in 1975. It came from the factory with the 5". Barrels as you know are hard to find but I like plinking the 5 above all the other sizes.
