I carry the Crimson Trace gripped 642 in my front pocket, daily. I have the longer grips (LG-305 Extended grip) and have no problem concealing them or getting to them in Dockers.

I am 5'10" and weigh about 225lbs (not exactly svelte

My 442 is one of my favorite S&Ws that I own. I use a RKBA pocket holster, and carry the gun in my right pocket.

From what everyone is saying, it sounds like I'm over-worrying the concealment issue. I'm just going to put my M442 in a Nemesis, stick it in my pocket and live with it for a while.

I have a 642 with crimson trace grips. I ran 20 rounds through it yesterday. I love it! It will tear the center out of a silhouette at 10 yards.
You will like it-the extra rubber at the back of the Crimson trace seems to tame +P's a little. My wife has no problem with the 158 gr lswchp +P's. Never tried lasermax.
