After much thought and trial and tribulation (sp?). I finally made up my own mind. 5.56 ammo aint cheap. I wanted another plinker, so I made a deal with the wife. No 5.56 and I get the 15-22 and a new concealed carry weapon. Bought my 15-22 today at Sportsmans, they are currently doing there customer appreciation days and offering 5% off guns, optics, and ammo. 10% off everything else, check your store for their deals. Now to make up my mind on a carry piece? I'm swinging towards the springfield xdm 40 3.8 inch barrel. But I love the feel of the M&P! If I could combine them it would be awesome.

Nice choice on the plinker as for the carry gun I really like the way the XDM's feel. I am a little bias though I own a XDM 9mm 4.5.

I went with a Glock 17 9MM. I liked the feel better than the XDM and M&P but both are great guns. I know its not small though but I am a big guy. I guess I will need another.;)

S&W M&P9 pistol with some trigger work makes a superior carry pistol. A tad on the large side though but highly reliable and accurate. The compact version conceals better.

My first Glock mod will be a Ghost trigger connector.

havent shot one but the sr9c and lc9 look pretty good by Ruger

I know I may be a trader, as it isn't S&W, but there is noway I would ever get rid of my SR9c..I think I love that gun more than my 15-22 ( naa, that's pushing too far :p ), but my wife sure loves it also. She done told me that I can buy any gun I want, but she gets the sr9c :D

I have not seen the LC9 in hand yet, but if it is only 1" bigger than the LCP, it is still too small for me. I hate having half my hand hanging off the grip

I would go for the Barrett 82A1 then.

I got big paws. Thats why I went with the Glock 17. The large backstrap with the Gen4 really makes it a great fit.

Welcome to the 15-22 family. on the concealed carry my choice is the s&w airweight (bodyguard) with crimsontrace grips.
