Mag question

I have several Shield 40 mags, and I noticed that they fit my Shield 9 2.0 perfectly as well as lock the slide back.

My question is this:

Will these mags work loaded with 9mm??

Likely won't be enough pressure around the feed lips to hold the rounds in. You could try it, but I don't see the reason for it. Certainly wouldn't use it for self defense.

As @sawman556 has posted - feed lips won't hold rounds.
I had "pleasure" to test it by myself, when I was mistakenly supplied with .40 mags for my M&P9.

Problem is moot now lol, I just got my hands on a Shield 40 2.0 at my LGS for $270
