I know some say it isn't possible but then I've done a google search and some people say they have successfully gotten a hogue wrap around grip to fit a 469. I'm looking to see if anyone has any pointers on what is needed to make it fit? Whether modding the gun or the grips, either is fine as it's a carry gun and already not in mint shape.

I will give you my 2 cents worth. I am a great fan of 469s and have 2. I carry one as my concealed carry when wearing clothing that can cover properly. The other is a safe queen, unfired in box and ready if needed. The Kahr also shown is my lightweight clothing carry. I purchased the Hogue grips for the 6906(in picture) and struggled a long time to stretch it on after removing the backstrap. It is not easy.. I found a set of Uncle Mikes rubber replacement grips on Ebay(new) and put them on in place of the Hogues. See them in the picture. They fit perfectly and go together just like the originals. Also, they are not as thick feeling in my hand as the Hogue. I felt like I was holding a 2x4 the grip was so wide. My hands are medium size and anything larger that the originals feels too thick. Hogue does make a grip sleeve called a Grip Handall Fullsize grip sleeve for about $8 online. The one you see on my Kahr is the Handall Junior sleeve inverted. I really like them. They are simple and with some stretching go on quickly. Of course I can't say how the larger one will work on the 469, but I would consider it before the large Hogue grip. Hope this gives you some insight. LOVE THE 469'S!!!!!!!

SCWOODY, you say you stretched the Hogue's on, did they actually fit without modifications? I am liking the Hogue grips quite a bit, I do not have large hands but find the stock Pachmyr grips on the 469 not comfortable at all. I do like the plastic ones on the 3rd gens though and think that the original grips offered for the 469 just aren't as good looking.

It also looks like you had to cut the Hogue grips down a little to get them to fit in the front? I'm a fan of stock looks and don't like to have to do that either.

You are right--I had to cut down the front and sides at the front of the grips to get the magazine to close. I am sending you photos of the cuts(definitely not professional). Good luck.

Thanks, that's just what I was wondering. I don't mind unseen mods to get a fit but obvious ones don't do it for me.
