Yesterday, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed into law House Bill 2640, which passed in both houses by large bipartisan majorities and will eliminate restrictions on the magazine capacity of any authorized firearm regulated by the Arizona Game and Fish Commission.

No more having to make 5 round magazines for hunting!
Now, where did I put that Beta mag...

One of the reasons this law originated, was passed by both the state Senate and House, and signed into law by Jan Brewer is that on Arizona's Southern border, it will give hunters additional protection against the drug smugglers who would think nothing of killing anyone getting in their way or who might be potential witnesses to their doings. Until our border is sealed, this is the stark reality.

Here is a link to the NRA announcement. Note that HB 2728 is now working its way through the Legislature making it legal to use sound suppressors. The $200 Fee and red tape does make it a bit unattractive.
