Dec 29 2021 I bought a box of Gevalia 84 count pods for $29. Now they are $51. Now I never was great at math but that does not look like 8% to me. Also went to get some weed killer and the 2.5 gallon jug I bought last year for $43 is now $60 for one gallon. Rather than drink cheap coffee I will just not drink coffee at all. Maybe I can cut some some weeds chop them up and roast them and make coffee out of that:D

Been paying about $10 for locally roasted High Grade Coffee.
I like the African coffees.
They are having trouble getting the Kenya and Ethiopian.

"If you need some weed killer try 30% vinegar, very effective. Unlike Monsanto products it should not cause cancer." The lot I spray takes 20 gallons of spray. The weed killer will make 30 gallons. 30% vinegar on amazon cost $20 a gallon so while vinegar would be great for small areas would not work for me.

...agree that vinegar would be cost prohibitive, is this a planting lot?

John Sylvan, the guy that created the coffee-pod, reported that the single servers are to expensive and even he didn't have one in his kitchen.

I buy Jamaica Blue Mountain whole bean in 2lb lots, grind it by hand in a little stainless steel and ceramic blade grinder for a thermos full at a time. Brew it up in a Mr Coffee Jr most of the time. I do also have a Pyrex stovetop percolator for special occasions, but I am too lazy to use it unless company comes over.:D

My wife and I drink coffee, we don't do K-cups! When her work went to a K-cup machine I bought her 2 refillable cups in the "As seen on TV " section at the grocery. the are made from silicone and a stainless mesh. They worked just OK. I had bought her a 3 pac Hot Chocolate cups, after using them she took the little foam sponges out and put them in her reusable cup. From then on it worked great!

Received a Keurig machine as a gift several years ago. We love it. Wife can have her favorite flavored coffees, I can have my 100% Colombian or French Roast good full-bodied coffees. One cup at a time, next to zero clean-up work, no waste.

Still have the old aluminum Mirro percolator with a half-century of experience on hunting and camping trips. It makes good coffee but there are always floaters and grit to deal with. Brew up a quart, pour it through a strainer with a Mr. Coffee filter, keep it in a thermos jug for hours of fresh-brewed flavor. Rinse and drain, never any soap, don't worry about the crusty brown stains.
