Winchester rifles and shotguns were well machined and part hand fitted, with a excellent blue that today would be considered a custom weapon...std issue before 1964.
Im also a fan of the model 12 and the 16 gauge.
Its funny to me but i didn't even realize that they produced a Featherweight version until this week.
Im looking to bid on a well worn Heavy Duck to have parkerized and threaded for chokes. They are a great shotgun.
