78% Nitrogen? Mine have a quater of a bottle of Slime in them so that may be upsetting the natural balance of my Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Carbon Dioxide mixture. The tire shop guy can hate me all he wants to, the stuff works.

As do I, but others claim that 100% dry nitrogen is better. I am sure that together with enough snake oil, you can drive across the swamp land the guy is also selling.

I have nitrogen in both my and my wife's daily drivers. First tire shop "upgraded" me to nitrogen (when I refused to pay for it) when buying a thousand dollars worth of Michelin tires. Also, free repairs, balancing, rotation and nitrogen for the life of the tire. The second shop puts nitrogen in every tire they sell as part of the package. They were the cheapest in town (of the shops I will go to), so I'll take their nitrogen.

Not all of us pay for the snake oil. And I haven't fallen for that "You need to change the air in your tire" thing, either.
