My wife has to have real mayo! I'm a wuss and like miracle whip! I always have! I can chop up a fresh home grown tomatoe and add salt and pepper with a spoon full of miracle whip and I have a meal! And a few crackers and I'm set. My Dad would only eat real mayo! My Mom only ate mustard? So I don't know where I got it from?

I do like my wife's chicken salad, that she'll only use real mayo in. Along with celery, walnuts, grapes etc. But on anything else, I want miracle whip!!

What do y'all like? Real Mayo or Wuss Whip Dressing (as she calls it)?

I can do either or--just depends on what I'm eating. Since my dieting started five weeks ago, I haven't used any of each.

We use mayo, I bought miracle whip by mistake one time didn't like it, I have a bad habit of not reading the labels and pick up the wrong things and catch hell when I get home.

That's quite an admission. You have a very understanding and tolerant wife. She probably lets you try on her high heels and frilly things - not that there's anything wrong with that, at home behind closed doors of course.

What I really hate is when I order a sandwich and it comes back with Miracle Whip on it. I usually ask if they have mayo. If they only have Miracle Whip, I'll eat someplace else.

It's a miracle anybody likes that stuff far as I'm concerned. Sweetened mayo, blech...
I make my own mayonnaise.

Put two egg yolks, a tsp. of dry mustard and salt, 4 tblsp. white wine vinegar into a blender running on low. Slowly drizzle in 1-2 cups of grape seed or light olive oil till the desired consistency is reached. You can halve the recipe. Doesn't keep very long....raw eggs.

MW for me! Wife went to make me my favorite shrimp salad once and discovered she didn't have any MW...she thought, awe he'll never know the difference and used mayo...first bite I took I about puked...took the bowl of it straight to the garbage disposal!

Thanksgiving leftover turkey sandwiches made with lots of MW!! MMMMGOOOD!

If it's not DUKE'S, it's not mayonnaise. My Grandmother, who had to make mayo from scratch when she was a girl in the 1890s, wouldn't have anything but Duke's in the house, because it was the only commercial brand that came close to homemade. If your store doesn't have it, order it online. You'll be glad you did.
