I have a mdl 35 j frame 22. It has had thousands of rounds put through it. This is my problem. Starting with a clean revolver I can shoot to cylinders full and then it takes an act of congress to eject the shells. And sometimes the double action will bind where it will not cock. I have been thinking about sending it back to S&W to be fixed. But wanted to check here first to see if anybody nows what the problem is and how I can fix it. Also does anybody know of a good S&W gunsmith in Houston Texas. Thanks

Muley, I only have a suggestion, may not matter but before you send it anywhere experiment with different ammo and manufacturers. The present brand you are using may be extra dirty and all you need do is to find one your revolver seems to like the best. You did not mention accuracy but that could also improve by trying a variety until the "one" comes along.

This is a very valuable and rare Smith.
I would not let just anyone work on it.
Smith has never charged me anymore then a local guy would , but then you do have to ship it.
How did you manage to get thousands of rounds through it if it is so troublesome to shoot ?
