evening all! I have a new bodyguard 2.0 that runs like a top…one small issue…when there is a loaded magazine the slide will stay partially locked back if it's pushed to the rear…a slight tap forward on the slide fixes it…I'm assuming the magazine is pushing tightly against the slide…anyone hear of this or have a solution? Thanks in advance!

I searched and didn't find a good solution, it's not the main spring and removing rounds doesn't help, and all mags do it

If I put an empty mag in and pull the slide back it will lock.
What is the position of the slide when you insert a loaded mag?
I have the slide locked back when I insert loaded mag, then sling shot the slide to rack a round.
I load one round down in both mags because I can't load a full mag, even with an UpLULA without damaging the last round.
The amount of force it takes to pop in a fully load mag feels a tad too much on a closed slide.

Same here , slide locks back with empty mag, new mags insert fine and releasing slide stop or slingshot works flawlessly, and gun runs flawlessly… only issue is slightly pulling slide back it gets stuck…I would hate to draw the gun when needed and the slide got pushed back and nothing…

I have not experienced that with my BG2.
I don't believe that is normal and something is hanging up the slide.
I could be the spring on the guide rod is hanging up on the guide rod as it is being compressed during the press check.
Or.. it's something else, but I would want it fixed.
How many rounds do you have through it?
Have you cleaned the guide round and spring, and lubed it?

I have about 200 through, been thoroughly cleaned twice…definitely better then when I started… shame because it shoots like a dream otherwise…

Magazine with even one round makes it do it, feels like the mag plus even one round is pushing up too hard and causing the slide to rub.

I don't recall reading any posts on this particular issue.
Sorry you are having an issue to an otherwise nice shooting BG2.
Yeah, I think the tolerance is too tight between slide and frame…I have the od green version so I wonder if some finish got in there… going to run a couple hundred through it this week and if it makes a difference I might have to get in there and do some light sanding…fingers crossed, thanks for the help
