I am new to this site, so please bare with me. I recently bought a chrome 39-2. Looking to find a manual, and learn how to field strip it.

Welcome. Field striping the 39 isn't difficult. Putting slide back on takes 3 hands to hold down the small parts at the rear but nothing you can't handle. I figured mine out years ago without a manual.

Welcome to the Forum. Your gun is probably Nickel, not Chrome. The 39s have one of the most ergonomic grips ever designed.
