Ok, boredom has overtaken me, i'm about to do a meltdown on one of my non-smith pistols. I have done this before.(I hate square pistols!)
Since this one is a stainless finish, how would you bring it back up to a fine polished finish? The last one i did was a black epoxy finish, this will take a bit more work. Thanks for any help, blue

Maybe fine wasn't the best description, it's a witness/tanfoglio compact with their "wonder finish" which appears to be more of a dull, raw "stainless"?, finish, sorry no pics at the moment. blue

here is a SW CS9D that I did.

was too blocky and sharp for my taste.

here is the original pic

using a file, dremel, some 320 paper. I rolled all edges.

Not sure I understand the question.

I plan to leave as is. When I get some time, I plan to roll the sharp corners of the frame and then send it off for reanodizing. I plan to keep the frame that factory color (gray or silver).

if I have read correctly, the color to achieve the factory color is clear.

this gun mainly rides in my maxpedition FAT BOY as my back up when on duty. off duty, if the bag goes with me, then I have a gun. if I dont take the bag, it goes in the pocket or a side scabbard.

I doubt it will get alot of holster wear as this is a once a year qual gun. I do dry fire it about one a month.

if the slide gets marked up, I will strip and re bead blast.

thanks to all for the nice comments. I would be afraid to work on others guns in this manner should the dremel slip, or I file too much. the glass bead treatment hides minor flaws.
