I know the feeling. Every afternoon me and the dog go for a walk. And she will ignore before bowl of purified water - don't drink tap water. I run all my water through a purifier and I figure if I'm going to drink it pure she should too - ignore the bowl of purified water and as soon as we get outside she will drink rainwater out of the gutter.

Your dog won't drink tap water? OK, sometimes it smells of chlorine. Maybe it won't drink the purified because it doesn't small at all. Good natural gutter water is OK though.

Not a smoker myself, but I remember seeing my mom and dad do that many times. My brothers and I used to roast marshmallows that way in the winter.
Yep! I had a beat up old rescue cat, Crookshanks. There were 8 water dishes in and around the house. He would drink out of puddles. Old habits are hard to break.
