MEMES

we're addicted to love.

I wasn't much of a music video viewer but I do fondly remember those ladies but not the artist.

The late, great, Robert Palmer.

Funny story. Was in my usual biker bar when that tune was a hit and it came up on the jukebox.

Me: "Oh, I like this one."

Claire, rolling her eyes: "Of course, we all know why."

Me: "What do you mean?"

Claire: "You like it because of the video!"

Me: "Never seen it."

Claire: "Really?," then she sort of smirked, looked at me coquettishly, and said, "Mmmm, you need to see it."

Women can be weird.

Gazing into my Crystal Ball, I prognosticate that gun sales (both numbers sold and purchase price), cost of ammunition, cost of reloading components will all decline.

We will never see primers for $17 per thousand, bullets (any caliber) for $9 per hundred, or national reciprocity for state issued weapons permits to carry.

I am not the only person "Having a Dream".

I just watched it for the first time. The girl behind his right shoulder looks quite a bit like Gina Davis. She's good looking. The other two guitars - not so much. The keyboard ain't bad. Can't tell about the drummer because you hardly ever see her face. His body's in the way.

Here in Reno, that is a std drive way for the rich & famous;

so the snow slides to the street, for the road crew to remove;
don't you know.

That looks like some houses in my former residence town in central Alabama. A new subdivision was built, and at least 2 or more houses had similar driveways, with steep angles.
Not only steep, but without a roundover at the top, cars will grind to a halt, ripping out their underbody, exhaust, etc. as they high center going into the garage. Nothing short of a very lifted truck will get over that garage entryway.
The builder should be sued big time.

That's criminally bad design/execution. It's not only steep, but without a roundover at the top, cars will grind to a halt, ripping out their underbody, exhaust, etc. as they high center going into the garage. Nothing short of a very lifted truck will get over that garage entryway.
