Men turn grumpy at age 70?

I have been told that I'm opinionated. I can't remember being any other way so it is not from age. I was born knowing that my way is the correct way. Larry

Old TexMex is right about one thing-turn on the charm when they're expecting the grump and you've got them by the tail ;)
 
Four years ago, at age 63, I was well on my way to Grumpy and loving every minute of it!! Then I married a gal exactly half my age. Now I'm having trouble remembering why I was so Grumpy ( actually, I'm having trouble remembering a lot of things ) !! Seriously, she is ruining my Grumpy. Not sure how this will turn out. She even goes to the range with me and enjoys watching me shoot. Need advice quickly.

I will be 70 in a little over a year and I guess I've gotten pretty
grumpy in the last 2 years. No doubt for a lot of the same reasons
mentioned above like physical pain and the restrictions that pain
puts on your activites. High on my list of grumpiness inducers are
self centered thoughtless people who automatically expect others to
enable their childish behavior. Like others on here I find that the
older I get the less I care what other people think of me, except for
a chosen few that is. There are lots of things to be grumpy about if
one chooses to dwell on them but I am actually happy most of the
time. Solitude is golden, the best cure for grumpiness is prevention,
avoid the source. Immersion in your chosen hobbies like good guns
and the outdoors makes it all seem worthwhile.
 
as i get older i feel ive gotten a little more relaxed play with my cat more talk in a calm, cool and calective voice and good attitude , until the wife knows that certain button to push then i turn into MR. Grumpy
 
I took down all my mirrors in the house 20 years ago, so in my mind I'm still looking fifty!!!!. Awwww heck... just enjoy life being grumpy or not!!!
 
I founded grumpy. Didn't need a reason just the evidence around me. Your ugly. Your mama dresses you funny. You wife looks like a hamster chewing on a corn cob. You smell like a wet dog. Your children look like a goat herder gone mad. Who's your tailor Omar the tent maker. I don't like the color you're wearing. Politicians shouldn't be allowed to procreate. You lookin at me? Smell my finger. I used to be happy. I think.

I have the occasional grumpy morning but for the most part I find it easier to be pleasant. I am only 66 so I'll have to wait and see about 70. I really feel like a (creative spelling) when I'm grumpy to my Wife. She never has a bad word to say about anyone!
