Metal Detectors....Do You Have One?

It truly is a fun hobby, as well as great exercise....one will be using muscles that the lazyboy doesn't exercise on a daily basis. Some folks carry while checking out public places...why not...stay safe while having fun...it's our right!

I bought one to use when we were down at Myrtle Beach. I forget which one I bought bought but it worked! I found a nickel and a six pack of empty beer cans.
I was searching the beach after tourist season.
Never found much of anything else and O haven’t used it since.;)

Bad thing about the beaches...they run machines to clean the beach off most evenings and they clean up the lost jewelry and trash left every day. Wonder who gets that good stuff??

My son has a Fisher F2. He has found a lot of old coins with it. It seems to have trouble when the ground is wet.

A few years ago, the back sight on my 1911 Combat Elite flew off while I was shooting on my hunting property. I couldn't find it so I went back with the metal detector. After failing to locate it after an hour, I threw the gun on the ground to see what the signal sounds like. It did not detect the gun at all.
