I have recently discovered N320 powder and really enjoy shooting it. However, I am less pleased loading it using my Redding powder measure.
I’ve seen comments where it “meters like water”. I wish it did but In my powder measure each throw is bit of a grind. Some more, some less. My results seem fairly consistent but getting the cartridges loaded is always a bit of a struggle. Alliant Sport Pistol meters like water for me, but not so much with N320.
Am I doing something wrong? When the powder measure is empty and cleaned out the throw lever is smooth as butter but as soon as I load N320 it starts to feel like I’m cutting through the powder on each throw. Maybe it’s the nature of the powder in my powder measure but I would be a whole lot happier if there was a way to throw each powder charge much more smoothly.
Thank you.
