Minnesota elected a new governor and other anti-second amendment politicians last November. I hear rumors of a high capacity magazine ban being proposed, but I have not been able to find any reliable information about this.

You may be thinking about Minnesota Senate bill S.F. 3331.

It was introduced on March 14, 2018.

The primary author/sponsor of the bill, Senator Jason Isaacson, had his name withdrawn from the bill. I don't know why.

The bill was referred to committee on March 19, 2018.

It died in committee shortly thereafter.

Case closed. For now.
