Mod 36 problems

I have a mod 36 and the ejector rod sticks when the cylinder is rotated into one position. Once its rotated past that position it operates smoothly. I watched a video by midway USA on checking for a bent rod. I used the ruler method and the did not seem to any wobble. The position where it sticks also make it hard to open the cylinder. I’m not sure where to go from here.

Look at the front of the rod where it locks into the barrel locking lug. Look at it with the cylinder closed there should be just a little gap if none see if the rod fully tightened. If there is no gap and the rod is tight the rod might be just a few thousands too long I have seen this before

also check that the yoke isn't bent slightly out of alignment.

No its on the ejector rod. I took the cylinder off today and there is a high spot on the rod. I could probably use some steel wool but I don’t want to reblue the rod so I ordered a new one already blued.

One of mine was doing this exact thing. I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned, it got better, but I ended up replacing the yoke and the cylinder.
