mod.66-2 ???

I put a deposit on a very nice near mint mod. 66-2 round butt with a 2 1/2" bbl. no box just the gun with original stocks asking price was $489.00 how bad did I over pay????

The pre lock snubby 66's are VERY desireable revolvers. I paid $375 this AM for a very cosmetically challenged 2.5" 66-2. I can refinish it, and mechanically it was perfect. Stamped "Edina PD" on the frame. It will be a beater so I can keep wear & tear off my LNIB 66 snubs.

Besides, there won't be any more as good as those. Enjoy yours! Regards 18DAI.

$375? Very suspicious. I am calling the police. Maybe they will confiscate and sell to me! I have paid in last 6 months $475-599 for 66's 2.5 inch in near excellent or excellent condition. I want one more for under $500.

Thank's guy's I'm a bit impulsive and $489.00 didn't seem to bad. The gun was not even priced yet but I saw it sitting on the shelf for gun's that just got taken in. It was after I got home that I was wondering if I over pay'd .If I can find the time I'll go back and pick it up this week.

I paid $475 for this S&W 66-4 just 3 weeks ago.
