Hi i came across this Model 1 Third issue .22 cal Rimfire they want $400 for it is this a good price for this gun i just want something old heres a picture of it pretty cool gun in very good shape it still shoots well they say..[IMG:left]

I can't tell if the finish is original or not from the pic. There's a lot of glare from the flash. You should be able to tell by the condition of the barrel roll marks and the serial number crispness. If the finish is original, then I think it's a good price. I've got a couple of these. A very decent blue one I gave $250 for and a re-nickel I paid $170 for.

Shooting these IS NOT recommended. That said, I've shot both of mine with .22 CB low velocity shorts. They are surprisingly accurate.
