Most 3rd Issue guns I see are full nickel plated. Don't see an all blue one very often. When I ran across this one for sale, I decided to try and buy it, and ended up with it. It is mechanically excellent and has a nearly pristine bore. It does have a significant blemish on the side plate, where some chemical removed some blueing. And the assembly number on the cylinder does not match the barrel and frame assembly number. Otherwise a pretty decent 3rd Issue. Serial # 90543 shipped in May, 1873. Stocks have matching serial number.
