I acquired this 38spl model 10-10 when my old man croaked and my brother and I went through his safe so it didn't cost me anything unless you count putting up with him for 17 years. :rolleyes:
It's a late 80s ex PD issue but has a +P barrel which, though the 10-10 series came with heavy barrels, I don't think is original.
It's a fine shooter and goes well with its' big brother, my 586-8 .357 mag revolver.

Well if nothing else, the old man had good taste in firearms.
He did and he taught me a number of valuable skills but after 17 years of dealing with him 13 weeks of Marine Corps boot camp was a fun and relaxing experience. :)

Your 10-10 looks exactly like mine with a bull barrel standard in 1990.
It's a sweet shooter and nice to have so that I don't need to run 38spl rounds through my .357 revolver when I feel like shooting lighter ammo.
