Model 10-5 box question

The blue box that came with my 1974 5" Model 10-5 has no markings at all. Has reinforced metal corners and original contents but no S&W logo/design and no end flap info. Appears to be an original S&W blue box. Pics below - Comments?

A plain blue two piece box usually came with a revolver that was shipped with a wood presentation case.

I don't think a Mod 10 would be shipped with a presentation case but a plain blue box is correct for a blue revolver.

It's probably not the box the gun was shipped in but it's not entirely wrong for it now.... how's that for confusing!
