The serial number should be something like this 15K1234

on the inside of the frame the only numbers are A19 34324

That's 1984. It would not be a 10-7 but a 10-8.
You should have a non-pinned barrel - correct?

I believe that was a special run for the Preuvian Police and that's their crest on the sideplate. Cool.

The crest should read, "POLICIA DE INVESTIGACIONES DEL PERU" . I think that translates to, "if we arrest you, you're seriously hosed"!

I would not trust the value from Collectors much. They are over priced and they have the time to wait for a sucker to purchase the gun at their price. A couple of weeks ago I went to their store and they were selling 3 M10-8 4-inch from the NYPD in ok conditon for $600 each saying that they were the last NYPD guns.

Not to downplay the value of your Model 10 since I have never laid eyes on that model before today, but the overall pricing on that collector's website is extremely "optimistic."

That is as nice as anyone can put it.

Their method of description in regards to condition is definitely questionable, but the pics are explanatory. Caveat Emptor goes for anyone using the info as well as anyone buying, I guess.
