MODEL 13-1 BACK FROM AMERIGUN

I just purchased my first set of grips from Herrett's. All of the sets I have (4/ea) were purchased from ebay. I did the hand tracing and sent it in. Dee is the maestro. She will take your tracing, re-size them as appropriate and refinish. Normal cost for her work is approx. $50. Not bad for a custom set of grips.

I just ordered a set of new Jordan Troopers in figured Walnut for my 150-series Ruger Security Six (1972). She's the next gun project...

Raylan,

I'm very happy with it. I have all sorts of Smiths. I saw your picture on your post. I have a bunch of semi-autos too. My 39-2 and 659 are being modernized by Karl Sokol in Vermont. He's done my 5906 and 645 previously. Once the guns are done, he'll get my hybrid 915 with 5906 slide for his work.

With that said, I'm a big revolver guy and have several other gun projects in the works. My 10-6 HB is being refinished at S&W now. New blue, chamfer of charge holes and check-up for $260 isn't so bad. When she comes back, she go to Amerigun for a new Tritium front sight.

Thanks for the kind words.

It is addictive. I can't get enough of them. I've been selling all my other brands and filling the safe with 1-3 gens and pre lock revolvers. Love them.
