Going to pick this one up tomorrow. His pictures leave a bit to be desired but he says it's literally new. He bought it new, put 50 rounds thru it and that's it. Unfortunately the box is long gone. It is a Model 15-4 2" heavy barrel snub nose. It comes with the factory stocks and t-grip, custom basket weave holster, and a set of signed Craig Spegel custom made rosewood boot grips. I know factory stocks, not aftermarket but I know that Craig Spegel's are top notch and desirable. What is the value of them? I'm figuring they have some value to them so paying a little more than I normally would for a snub nosed 2" model 15 but thinking it's still not a bad package deal for the asking price.

Thanks,
Earl

I tried reaching the seller but never got a response....congrats on making the deal. If you paid his asking price I think you did okay.....not a steal but you didn’t get robbed. Nice package.

Nice gun! I’m on the hunt for one myself. My guess on the Speigal’s is $100-$150. Holster is about the same.

If you don’t mind me asking, what did you pay?

Thanks. That's what I'm thinking too - ok, but not a steal. Since I'm not a dealer I figured it would work out for me. Worst case, I may sell the Spegel's to bring my cost down in the gun. Depends on how I like em :)

Model 15-4

The price with the accessories noted plus a speedloader is $700. So like moralem noted, it's not a steal but not a bad deal either for this area.

Great score. Congratulations. Years ago I lucked into a Model 56, but they are so rare that I hesitate to take it out and shoot it. I have been looking for a two-inch model 15 for about five years. I am nowhere near as frequent a buyer as I was back then, but hope springs eternal...

Nice score! Love the Model 15 Snubs!
Just watched a Model 56 go for $5775.00 last night on GB. Wowzer!!! I couldn't shoot one due to my hand shaking knowing how much $$$$ was at risk.

That's a good one.

As one who loves this model I am always on the lookout and would pay $600 for this condition and be OK with it. But if you really like the additional items and start ticking backwards for their value I think you got a really good deal. I can't get over the outlandish prices folks are asking for this model on GB although we do agree asking and receiving are 2 different animals. I would like very much to have that package in my already heavy M15 collection. Here are 3 I purchased over the past 5 years probably averaging $500 before I added the Ahrend grips. This model will always be sought after from my experience, another reason you didn't pay to much.

I'd love to have a Model 56, especially my birth year (1963) but at those prices it will never happen. I only recently gave in to the price on a 1974 Python and that wouldn't hardly get me half way there.

This one will be my first model 15. I started out with K and N frame magnums but my collection is starting to fill out, time to get going on some 38s.

Well I picked it up and it's absolutely a gem. Doesn't even really have a turn line though I imagine it will by the end of the evening. And though I'm a stickler for factory grips, I'm not gonna be taking those Spegel's off! I like 'em. The deal got better then I thought...included 2 holsters (the 2nd is a suede IWB JayPee) and some ammo (remainder of the original box so he had only put 35 rounds thru it). Happy Camper.
