Hi all, on my lunch break today I stopped in a local pawn shop and he had a 15, 6", Patridge sight, no box and no factory grips (it has Hogues.) Was pressed for time. Not sure of dash no. According to the catalog the 6" was offered from '86 to '92, which would make it a dash 5 or 6. Lock up was great, noticeable drag line, little if any blue wear but some very slight pitting along the top of the frame. It'd be a great shooter. Anybody have experience with this variation? Any input as to value range of this one? Thinking about going back tomorrow and making an offer, but have no idea of what would be fair. Thanks for any help!

A few months ago I paid $600 for a 1973 6" 19-3, target model (partridge sight, target trigger and hammer) with original grips but no box. It is in beautiful condition. So to me the Model 15 you described would be a $500 gun. Now, if you have always wanted a 6" 15, $550 would be the top-side of fair. More than that and you're being unduly generous. Local markets though can have their own peculiarities.

Thanks for the reply and info. Sounds good. Will go by today for another look. Congrats on the 19... sounds very nice.
