Prices can vary from condition and originality so including pics would help alot in getting a good estimate,without pics its kinda like asking whats an old Corvette worth.
Any decent Model marked K-22 would probably bring a minimum of maybe $450 to $650 for a clean example and over $1000 for a rare configuration with box docs tools etc.
Model 18's seem to bring a small premium over the Model 17.

The suggestion to consult GB is a good one; check the "sold" side though not just those being offered for sale as that will give you a feel for true value; "true value" at least for a national auction site sale. Where I shop prices tend to be a little lower than GB. You can get good value information here (use the google search button at the top of the page for previous discussions) but we really need good pictures of the guns and SNs to give reasonably accurate values. That said, I haven't seen 17s or 18s sell for less than $500 in awhile. If truly 85% condition, which makes them fairly rough in my opinion, $500 might be a little high; 95+% guns run $600/$700 and another $100/$200 if 98/99% with box and papers. Good luck.

Mine are priceless... One is a four screw (also my birth year gun), one has a full under lug (shoots like a laser) and one is the first S&W I ever bought (and I'll cross the River Jordan with it.) Just for good measure I picked up a Model 48 as well.

I'd buy a good functioning K22 for under $500 unless it was gouge up or butchered. Heck you can't even find a cylinder for under $150. There just are not that many on the market, because almost everyone who has one loves it and isn't willing to part with it.
I just put my money where my mouth is. One stated to be in 80% condition had no bid at a min of $519, so I bid $520. Lets see if I get it. By the time its over it would cost me $580 with shipping and $20 to my FFL guy. I have been thinking of sleeving the cylinder and bore on one to make a 17 HMR and I haven't seen a used one around here for over a year and the last one I did see I bought and I roam the pawn and gun shops in a 300 mile radius.
I have a model 18 that is missing a bunch of blue and has been round butted and wouldn't it sell for $500

Well I guess nobody wanted a 17-4 with goodyears for over $520 cause I won it. I think I need to spend less time here. Place makes me spend to much on guns. Growing a stack of 22 caliber K frames.

Factors affecting value on your guns:
How old/what dash number are they? 17, 17-1, etc. Older is generally more desirable, and which dash number they are will affect what features they may have, such as pinned barrels, etc.
What features do each gun have? Style of stocks, standard or target hammers and triggers, etc.
Are they still in their original boxes?
Modified or still stock?

What gets me about K 22s is finding parts for my experiments. I have been looking for a K 22 cylinder. Was watching a used mdl 17 cylinder on Ebay during this thread and it went for $306. Don't come up often and when I do I see on it goes for big dollars.
