Model 18-3 LNIB or Model 17-3?

I have the pre 18 5 screw that is a joy to go with my 17's both 6 and 8 ANIB I bought new in 1968. Have the 63 651 and 48's 4 and 8. I guess I'm a hoarder. Bought my 17 in 1970 used for 65$.

Picked up the 18. Thanks for the advice guys. I put in some Winchester white box rounds and the gun scene have a hard time ejecting them even though the number shot is this a common problem and what kind of ammo would you recommend with this gun?

I have the same issue with my 17 and 34. All types of ammo, after the first few cylinders full, ejection is hard. It was suggested in this forum that I get the chambers teamed. Instead I just carry a rod and brush attachment in my range bag - when ejection gets sticky, I brush.

Corgilover, before you go out shooting again, get a .270 brush and work the cyl over good..also clean under and the extractor star..clean all lead out around the frame, inside where the cyl. closes....try some federal champions, they should fall into the cyl....lube it and shoot...M18= Sweet

Thanks everyone. Now looking at a 34-1 excellent condition gun only. What would be a fair price to pay for this gun don't want to call it quite like new but it's an excellent condition very little use?

I think it would range between $500 and $600. I've seen them go a little above and a little below this range, but if I were interested in buying one, I'd expect I'd pay in that range, with a $500 final price a good deal, and a $600 final price top dollar.
