My late uncle left me this along with a couple other revolvers. My guess (I'm a newbie but spent all day on Google) is it's a Second Model Hand Ejector, First Change, chambered for S&W 32 long. It appears to be in decent condition (to my uninformed eyes), save for the finish wear at the muzzle and scratches on the right side forward of the grip (the wear seems to be from the concealed carry holster that came with it). Cylinder is tight. Bore looks clean.
Is my guess at the model correct? Is it also referred to as a Model 1903? Recommendations for ammunition? Any idea of approximate value?
Thanks in advance for your help.
