bmg60 makes a point about the non-availability of .45 Colt cylinders, but that only applies to prewar guns. The Model 25-3 was available with the proper length cylinder for a 1917 frame, but with a left hand ejector rod. I don't know if the ejector stars are interchangeable, but if they are, that would be a source of a cylinder in .45 Colt.
