Hi

My new M25-15 is shooting a bit too high and my rear sight is bottom'ed out, so i guess I need a new rear sight blade, but whats the smallest/lowest blade size that S&W provide? I want the lowest one, so I MAY have some room for adjustments.

Any words from the fine people on this site? 😁

A taller front sight blade will accomplish the same result. Or try another brand or weight of bullet that will impact lower without having to change the sights.

Well, yeah, but the way to do this, is to get a smaller rear sight blade...as I understand, and that front sight is TALL enough 😜

I believe it's .125, but I'm taxing my memory. I went to Midway's web site and scrolled through until I saw the shortest one.

It is a shame that you are not in the United States. A simple call to Smith & Wesson would have a sight blade kit in the mail to you.

How are warranty issues taken care of in Denmark?

Does Smith & Wesson have a warranty service Center over there?

The shortest sight blade is actually a .126

You do not mention what the barrel length is on your Model 25, so it is hard to guess what height sight blade it should have left the factory with

You might call the Factory on Monday anyhow, a sight blade is not a restricted part under the ITARS treaty so Smith & Wesson should be able to legally mail one directly to you even though you are out of the country.

I had a 25-10 , same problem . I lowered the rear sight and even used a smaller rear sight blade to no gain . The front sight on mine was actually pinned in place . It was hard to find the pin under the bluing , but it was there . Added a taller front sight and problem solved . I hope this helps . Regards Paul

As colt_ssa said above.

You need to measure what you have now and go from there.

If mine, I have files and black oxide for touch up. ;)

Thanks guys, I will try to contact S&W and get them to ship a .106 blade. Dont know if its enough, but woth a try.

The barrel length on my M25 is 6,5"
